We got up early to get ready and eat breakfast. Our guide, George, was at the hotel at 7:45am to take us to the train station. The train station was HUGE and beautiful. According to George, it is the largest in all of Asia. The bullet train was very neat. It is such a smooth ride for going so fast. We mainly got to see farmland, power plants, and occasional towns. We had enough time before the kids came to check in and eat lunch. When we got back from lunch, the kids were in the lobby waiting for us. They smiled and giggled with each other when they saw us....they are precious. We took everyone up to our room to fill out the paperwork and then the orphanage workers left, and it was just us and the kids, and george. We took the kids out to lunch and played in the room. Tomorrow we are hoping to do more. The kids loved the art supplies we brought them and the balloons to play war with, but their favorite thing that we brought was Uno. They are already using the words for blue and yellow and love to say DRAW to whoever has to. Wen is very good with the numbers, but Han is excellant at using the app to spell words in pinyin (Chinese words in the english alphabet). They have used the app all day to communicate with us. It works really well. I suppose what you would really like is pictures. I don't have too many because the kids are still alittle camera shy, but here are the better ones from today.....
